Intelliphage is developing highly cost-effective, easy-to-use test kits that can be used to detect pathogenic bacterial contamination in food and water. These kits provide a way for users to visually determine if contamination has occurred within hours without the need for special equipment, shipping samples to a laboratory, or special training.

The technology will meet industry standards for testing and will be simple and cost effective enough to spur more widespread levels of testing. We believe our products will make food and water safer because testing can now be done economically, more often, and by anyone.

Intelliphage's products will dramatically reduce the number of illnesses and deaths caused by food and water contamination and save business millions each year in product recalls.

Intelliphage was founded at Purdue University and is based Indiana with research and development in the Purdue Research Park and soon in Zürich Switzerland.
